All walks qualify for the Youth Partner Challenge (YPC), an activity for youth ages 5-16.

March 20- Twin Bridges (Carolyn & Don) This is not a long walk but more of a meander of 1-2 hours. We will walk among a huge population of spring wildflowers located at Twin Bridges over the Pacolet River on US-176 south of Saluda.

April 3-Waters of Camp Creek (Betsy and John Burdett) This is a 2 mile, 2 hour moderate walk on Betsy Burdett’s property offering lush vegetation and dancing waters along Camp Creek.

April 17-Henry’s Nature Center (Lin, Kathy & Sarah) This will be an Easter exploratory meander over the wooded terrain of Henry's Nature Center plus an opportunity to view firsthand the newly constructed pavilion which will eventually serve as a gathering place for visitors. Plan for a gentle/moderate hike of 2 a mile loop, and the real possibility of finding some eggs along the way. Hiking sticks might prove helpful on sections of the walk.

May 1- Pacolet River Wildflower Walk (Nancy, Jim & Carolyn) Walkers will be led down a privately owned path down to the Pacolet River. This higher elevation start should still have the earlier ephemeral wildflowers still in bloom.

May 15-Ollies’ Falls (Mary Jo & Ann) A moderate out and back walk on a well maintained trail along Joel’s Creek, passing four waterfalls. There is an optional, steep, side spur which goes down to Turtle Falls.
